Looks like Katie will be returning to California in October!  NCCSE is in the midst of planning a full day "Introduction to Self & Match" and half day "Advanced Self & Match"  workshop.  More details to follow...

Another “Self & Match” sighting….This time in Ashley Smithey’s 2012 Doctoral Dissertation: “Emotional and Behavioral Disorders in Inclusive Classrooms: A Manual for Educators.”

On another note, this morning at 2am, Jamie woke up thinking "We've had so many exciting things happen lately...we should start a blog!" Thanks to her husband, Steve, for supporting the late night endeavor... (All the previous entries have been backdated.  Now, we're live! :)

Today, one of Katie’s colleague’s is interviewing for a Ph.D. position at Western Michigan University.  He brought our "Self & Match" manual to show the faculty and they loved it!

Just learned that an American school in Madrid, Spain is utilizing the “Self & Match” System.  How exciting!

Jamie dined at George’s in La Jolla with four School Psychology professors from four different universities nationwide.  It was so fun to show them the updated manual!  They strongly encouraged us to pursue formal publishing…It’s definitely in the cards, we just need to find time/energy/motivation to add text to our manual so that a stranger could pick it up and learn how to use “Self & Match”.  Our goal is to have text added to the manual by next February’s annual La Jolla lunch!
